LinkedIn is one of the best places to engage with your professional network, find job or recrute your next employee. The network has 500 million+ members and if you are one of them it is a good idea to know what will happen to your account if you or someone from your family are no longer around.
A LinkedIn profile can be removed if an obituary is supplied. Here is what you need to gather:
1. The member’s name
2. The URL to their LinkedIn profile
3. Your relationship to them
4. Member’s email address
5. Date they passed away
6. Link to obituary
7. Company they most recently worked at
